Find out more about Charlie
As a person I have always thrived off learning hands-on and practical work, but also very dedicated to whatever I put my mind to as I always look to put in maximum effort and will refuse to stop until I know I have done the best I possibly can.
I am a positive, eager, and forward-thinking person who never backs down from a challenge as I always look for ways to build my confidence and knowledge in anything I like doing.
In my spare time I like to work out in and out of the gym, pub (of course), I love my sports from football to Formula 1 whether that’s watching on the TV with friends and family arguing over who’s the best and who’s going to win or going to watch at the grounds.
Travelling is an essential part of my life, as I have been fortunate enough to see much of the world for the short time I have lived on Earth. Cruising around the Mediterranean seeing many different famous cities and landmarks within countries. From the riches of Monte Carlo to the history of Rome, even branching out to see the nightlife of New York.
My interest in digital marketing all began with a course I completed on Google Digital Garage. The course gave me my first insight into the industry, and I can comfortably say I am thrilled I took it. I understand the significance of the industry and how the growth of digital marketing is inevitable.
Immediately after I had completed the online course, I received certification as confirmation then almost instantly digested all the job sites for a possible job or trainee job placement within the industry of digital marketing.
At the time I was on Universal Credit (UC) having finished Sixth Form but not knowing what I wanted to pursue as a career. Shortly after I had completed the course, I eventually found a Kick-start job role on UC with Fandango Digital Ltd, a 6-month trainee job placement that I thought would be great for me to get to know all about the industry within a legitimate company that specialises in digital marketing and learn hands-on, from the social media to SEO.
I was given an interview for the placement and personally felt it went exceptionally well… at least I think it did. I met the big bad bosses of Fandango, Hannah and Carla, for the first time on the zoom interview, wanting to get to know me and why I applied. After roughly 30 minutes the interview was finished and was praying the job fell my way. A few days later I received a call from Hannah about offering me the job placement. Having finally been recognised for my good looks, I got an offer!
A couple of weeks later I was given an induction week and was shown around the site as well as getting to know the lovely people of Fandango and being introduced to another brave soul called Sam, who’s a trainee as well.
Later in the week, I was introduced to the marvellous Julia. More or less instantly we found ourselves laughing over each other as well as taking in all the information I possibly could about the company. Having enjoyed my first week at Fandango Digital Ltd, I am looking forward to the rest of my time here to infinity and beyond!
We are looking forward to working on many exciting projects with the team, contact us today!
